ScooterMate Returns Policy


At ScooterMate, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your item, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in its original condition—unused, unworn, with all original tags and packaging—and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return
To start a return, please contact us at info@scootermate.uk. If your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Please do not return items without contacting us first—unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fee
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. In addition, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

If we receive an item that has been used, damaged, or not returned in its original condition, your return may be rejected. If you want the product returned to you, you’ll be responsible for the shipping fee. In rare cases, we may accept a used item, but an additional usage fee may apply.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item is damaged, missing a part, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours so we can assess and resolve the issue.

Faulty Items & Maintenance
If you believe your item is faulty, please send us clear photos or a video showing the issue, or bring the product to our store for inspection.

Basic maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments, tyre inflation, and minor assembly are considered normal and are not covered as faults.

Performance Disclaimer
The range and speed of electric scooters and bikes depend on factors such as rider weight, road conditions, wind, riding style, and temperature. Manufacturer figures are based on optimal conditions and should be used as a guideline.

Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way is to return the original item following our return process and place a new order for the replacement.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
